It’s about time we did something a bit different: just for the fun of it, we polled a huge number of women regarding their personal tastes regarding men’s style, specifically looking for what they found “hot” or “sexy.” Perhaps not surprisingly, we got a lot of the same answers from various women. Here are the top 6 results.
#6 - The Well-fitting Black (V-Neck) Shirt
Picture 1 of 6
As lazy as it may seem, a surprising number of women prefer well fitting shirts as an outfit. The idea here is simple: black compliments most skintones, a well fitting shirt shows off a good body, and most people wear outfits like this regularly anyway.
The Takeaway: When you choose to wear a t-shirt of any kind, make damn sure it fits you well.
How to Perfect It: Most bodies will find American Apparel t-shirts to fit fairly well, as they stretch -- but beware, they are rather pricey. "Athletic fit" t-shirts are also a good option, pending you have the build.

Suits and dress shirts are nice, but they aren’t made for war. So what kind of clothing survives abuse, adventure, and adversity? Here are ten different clothing items — many of which we’ve discussed on this site before — that will outlast you, your children, and even your grandchildren.
Burberry Trenchcoats

Say what you will about the exorbitant price, Burberry makes phenomenal trenchcoats. Burberry trenches last forever -- and if you're willing to stomach the price, they will last as long as you do. No amount of heavy rain will buckle the knees of a good Burberry trench. Don't be misled by their more stylish and cutting-edge designs -- stick to something classy and the fashion will last just as long as the material.

I’ve noticed plenty of outlets/warehouses for mens’ designer suits cropping up recently. They all advertise 2-3 suits by DKNY, Calvin Klein, etc. for around 150-300 dollars. Is it too good to be true?
Not necessarily. For the most part, designer brands like DKNY, Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, and BCBG tend to end up in outlets for one reason or another. This doesn’t really mean that the suits are fake or even poor quality — usually, it’s a product of over-stocking, a poor economy, and the fact that a lot of stores that carried their brand(s) have since gone belly-up. For example, Kenneth Cole appears to be selling off a lot of their excess wares because they are closing down some of their branded brick-and-mortar stores.
For obvious reasons, be careful, but do take advantage of good deals. If the price is right ($150 a suit seems reasonable for an outlet sale of a Calvin Klein suit, as Overstock.com sells them for about that price), and if the goods are decent (i.e. no manufacturing defects), go ahead and buy now and get the suits tailored. The brands you’ve mentioned are of decent quality, and at that price are worth the effort.

To begin our new Lookbook section, we bring you PARC 81 (formerly Michael Brandon) — a relatively new California-based brand that features traditional mens styling with great details, like contrast lapel/cuff shirts and eye-popping patterns.
Look 1
Picture 1 of 13
PARC 81 is unquestionably a brand that focuses on classy, traditional yet modern menswear. As you'll see in other lookbook photos, a lot of the focus appears to be on shirts for contrast and color, traditional suiting cuts, and, for some reason, leather sandals.
