Fashions to Try this Summer

Written by Kirk, Saturday, May 16th, 2009 in Fashion, Spring and Summer '08 Fashions
clubmastersThis summer is finally ready to kick into full swing, and that means, for most of us, a drastic change in wardrobe. Oftentimes, it’s hard to stay fashionable with the summer heat bearing down- so here are some ways to wear less and still look great.

Swim Trunks

Invest in a good pair of swim trunks- not necessarily ones made for racing, just a good pair for casual swimming. Don't go for speedos or excessively baggy trunks- go for something that fits nice and tight, but isn't spandex. These can last forever, so invest in a good pair- the nautical look (found in brands like Polo Ralph Lauren and Nautica) is a fine choice.

In recent times, the evolution of the V-neck to reach previously unthinkable depth has resulted in a simple appellation: the douchebag neck; while that is quite self explanatory, the lower the neck opening goes, the more one looks like a manwhore, and not in a complimenting way.

Some of these are fun, but most of them should just be left at the country club in favor of something more lighthearted and fun, imo.

Thank you, Kirk. Glad to see you went back to the old format and did not mention Banana Republic :P

Question of the Week

I drink a ton of energy drinks (amp, red bull, 5hr energy). They help me stay focused in class. Should I stop drinking them to be healthy? How do I get more energy?
