Lots of our readers are college students- and a lot of them love to tell us about how bad their school dresses. So, in that vein, we’ve collected a list of 18 fashion faux pas straight from local colleges and universities- from socks with sandals to backwards baseball hats- and it’s time to make them known to the fashion foolish students out there.

A visible thong (or even a visible panty line) has long been a fashion faux pas, and somehow people seem to forget that it is one. Your underwear should never be shown in normal circumstances- and if it is in special circumstances, it should be remedied quickly. Thongs hiked up for blatant display are tacky and not as sexy as girls seem to imagine (it's like seeing a tampon string).
