Lots of our readers are college students- and a lot of them love to tell us about how bad their school dresses. So, in that vein, we’ve collected a list of 18 fashion faux pas straight from local colleges and universities- from socks with sandals to backwards baseball hats- and it’s time to make them known to the fashion foolish students out there.
Empire Waist Dresses/Sundresses
Empire waists, unlike what your girlfreinds may tell you, make you look pregnant. Now that I've said it, it's out there, you've heard it, now stop wearing them. I'm entirely serious- larger chests give off the impression of making the dress balloon out, whereas smaller chests make the dress look waifish. This applies to stereotypically patterned sundresses as well- whomever thought that everyone needed to look like Stepford Wives was drunk.
