On thinking on this again, I find the article lacking in terms of button-down shirts and the like. Any advice there? Also, a dark blue shirt with subtle, thin vertical stripes, would that be OK with a vest?

Mr. Moderator, I am posting from another IP. FYI.

Asa, 501's are classic. The are, for all intents and purposes, always in style. However, 527's and 514's are pretty cool at the moment as well. Unless you're unusually skinny, you probably should not wear 511's.

One question for the author regarding jeans: If this was Levi's, which models would you recommend? 501? 511?

Thanks!

Great article! This is exactly what this place should be about: explaining that stuff to us. Can't wait for other articles like this.

Great article. The only thing I'd suggest is to add stores where some of us may be able to find these stylish articles of clothing at an affordable price range. For example, I've been looking for a thin V-neck sweater for a while, but I haven't been able to find a decent one that isn't well over $80+; perhaps I'm just searching at the wrong places.

Ah that explains it. Sorry, it had not occured to me that I was posting from a different IP. Was just confused that someone else's comment had been approved first.
